This contemporary Moroccan rug is crafted from soft, high-quality wool and features a rich palette of fiery orange, deep red, and jet black—colors that instantly energize any room. The geometric and symbolic motifs of this all natural Boujad rug are inspired by Amazigh (Berber) heritage, each shape carrying a story of culture, identity, and artistry passed down through generations of skilled artisans, (that we like to call artists).
This fire of a Boujad rug comes from an area renowned for handmaking great quality Moroccan rugs with a flatter weave.

This beautiful small to medium size Boujad rug is perfect for lounge rooms, bedrooms, offices and those in between spaces.
MATERIAL
This Rug was handwoven in the Boujad region of Morocco. Made from all natural fibres with wool coming from sheep in the local area.
A circular process from start to finish the local community gather the sheep’s wool to process, dye and spin in the villages of the Boujad regions making it ready for weaving.
95% Wool, 5% Cotton
MAKER
This rug has been handmade by women from the Boujad region in the Atlas mountains who have learnt techniques from their ancestors. They do their magic on the loom -literally- incorporating ancient symbols to deflect the evil eye and bring good luck to both the maker and rug in your home.
WHAT IS A BOUJAD RUG?
Have you heard of Moroccan Boujad rugs before? Boujad carpets are named after the town of Boujad at the foothills of the Middle Atlas just over 200km north of Marrakech. More than just a floor covering - Boujad rugs are works of art. Known for their bold designs, these Moroccan style rugs will add a touch of bohemian flair to your space. Featuring asymmetrical designs, linework and shapes, our collection of ready-to-ship Boujad rugs embody the creativity and talent of the women who weave them.
What Makes Boujad rugs so special is the hand-knotted technique used to craft intricate patterns and bold designs - a meticulous process that ensures each rug emerges as a one-of-kind work of art. Boujad rugs feature a flat weave construction with a linear and slightly shaggy pile - they give excellent vintage vibes. Boujad rugs are woven from fine, soft wool which makes them a lighter, looser weave than many other styles of Moroccan rug.

Each Moroccan Miracles rug is one of a kind handwoven artwork that we source on the ground in Morocco using traditional ways of purchasing. Although the rugs are woven by our Moroccan sisters, men are often involved in the initial cleaning and dying of the wool along with the final stages of cleaning the rug and taking it to sell. Although we celebrate the artworks of our sister weavers, we recognise that it takes a community and not just one woman.

It is important to us that you are happy with your purchase. If for any reason you do not wish to keep your purchase you can return it within the 14 days of receipt for your money back or an exchange - it's your choice.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
